COURSE OVERVIEW
Course Length: 2 semesters
Course Program: Ignitia Online. Homeschool Edition - Parent Teacher or Homeschool Advantage - NFC Academy teachers. Accredited: All NFC Academy Programs K-12 Are Fully Accredited. Math 400 is a full-year elementary math course focusing on number skills and numerical literacy. In it, students will gain solid experience with number theory and operations, including decimals and fractions. This course also integrates geometric concepts and skills throughout the units, teaches measurement skills, and introduces students to statistical concepts. This 4th grade homeschool curriculum reinforces the fundamentals while students use interactive tools to learn about whole numbers and fractions, multiplication and division, fractions and decimals, and shapes and measurements. Through the use of challenging lessons and interactive practice, 4th Grade Math helps students develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, while exploring the world of numbers from a biblical perspective.
Throughout the course, students will explore the following topics: Number Sense and Place Value; Multiplying and Whole Numbers; Sequencing, Rounding, and Estimating; Lines and Shapes; Division and Measurement; Division, Fractions, and Factors; Multiplication and Fractions; Whole Numbers and Fractions; Decimals and Fractions; Estimation, Charts, and Graphs. |
