High School Grade: 9-12 Accredited: Cognia-SACS/CASI, Middle States, FACCS Career Management assists students in their preparation for career selection. This course will provide a good foundation to their career as they move through college or go directly to their career out of high school. The course is designed to improve workforce skills needed in all careers. Students will complete activities that help identify personal interests, aptitudes, and learning styles. Students will use results of self-assessments to determining careers that may prove personally satisfying. Students will complete an in-depth career research activity that can be repeated for each future career decision. Students will also create a career portfolio as they work through the curriculum.
Designed for students in grades 11 and 12, Career Management helps students improve important career skills that apply to a variety of occupations. Specific skills that are refined during the semester-long course include communication, leadership, decision making, problem solving, goal setting, and time management skills |
