annual testingSome states require some form of annual standardized testing for homeschool students. Typically, a test must be called a norm referenced test and not one similar to the various state created tests. To enable our families to meet this requirement and to help us evaluate our academic program, we make the Stanford Achievement Test Online available each spring for our students from Kindergarten through eleventh grade. Testing is encouraged by NFC Academy but not required. |
Pathblazer is web-based math and language arts curriculum designed around animated video lessons for students in 1st and 2nd grade. The program sets students on individual learning paths that will help to supplement areas that they need help or encourage them to move ahead. Through conversational lessons and a game-like approach, students are engaged in learning activities that offer instructional support depending on their needs and sets them on a path to success.
