To qualify for NFC Academy Remote Campus there must be a minimum of ten full-time enrolled students. Students may from Kindergarten to grade 12. Those students in Kindergarten-2nd grade would be in the Print Program while that option is also available for 3rd-5th grade. The online program is typically where most students enroll in the a remote program and that is 3rd-12th grade. In the remote program for online grades 3-7 someone at the remote location may be the primary teacher, or all students in the online program grades 3-12 could have NFC Academy teachers.
To have a remote location there must be a local supervisor of the program. At the request of the local remote location the Academy will approve a local "Facilitator" who will be given some online privileges in the learning program. The Facilitator works with the NFC Academy teachers and may be the local teacher for students in the online program 3rd-7th grade. Students must be enrolled by their parents or legal guardian who are minors. Students who are 18 years old may enroll themselves if they are responsible party for all finances related to enrollment as a student at NFC Academy. Students who are 18 years old who are not responsible for the finances related to enrollment, must be enrolled by the parent or guardian who is responsible for all financial obligations. The Academy does not enroll students who upon entering their senior year are past their 19th birthday and ninth month. Parents of minor students as defined above must complete the Parent Permission Form allowing the Academy to work with the Facilitator of the Remote School.
