Course Credit: 0.5 Program: Homeschool Advantage, NFC Academy Teachers NCAA Approved High School Grade: 10-12 Accredited: Cognia-SACS/CASI, Middle States, FACCS Twentieth Century American History is a history elective for high school students interested in examining American history during a century of change, continuity, and conflicts. Students will examine America's economic, political, governmental, cultural, and technological growing pains during the twentieth century. They will also consider the causes and effects of national and international cooperation, competition, and conflict.
Through exploring the changes, conflicts, and growth that took place in the last century, students will better understand the America they live in today. Students will study the Industrial Age, Imperialism, the Roaring ‘20s and the Great Depression from and economic, political, governmental, cultural, and technological perspective as they are guided through interactive lessons. |
